Installing the App

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to Plant Manager
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (โ‹ฎ) in the top right
  3. Select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
  4. Confirm by tapping "Install"
  5. The app icon will appear on your home screen

Enabling Notifications

  1. Open Plant Manager from your home screen
  2. When prompted, tap "Allow" to enable notifications
  3. If you missed the prompt, go to Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ Plant Manager โ†’ Notifications

Troubleshooting Android

  • Make sure you're using Chrome (not Samsung Internet)
  • Disable battery optimization for Plant Manager
  • Check that Do Not Disturb mode is off

โš ๏ธ Important: iOS requires iOS 16.4 or later for push notifications.

  2. Navigate to Plant Manager

  4. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  5. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

Why don't I receive notifications?

Check that the app is installed (not in browser), notifications are enabled in both app and system settings, and your device isn't in Do Not Disturb mode. For iOS, ensure you're on iOS 16.4+.

How often are notifications sent?

Notifications are sent once per day for due and overdue tasks, typically in the morning.

Do notifications work offline?

The app works offline, but notifications require an internet connection to be delivered.
